Graffiti

Graffiti often features territorial tags and logos and rarely depicts organic forms from nature. I created 3-dimensional ceramic pieces to 'grow' from existing street graffiti; nature symbolically reclaims the urban environment. This project also promotes sustainability by repurposing existing graffiti as a canvas for another artistic expression and transformation.

Existing graffiti, glazed earthenware organic forms.
